Derek arranged travel for me from Sigiriya, Ella, Yala, Marissa and to the airport. Always nice card with air conditioning, on time and at a good price (same as PickMe). Made the travel between destinations on our trip really easy and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Our trip to Sri Lanka, as a family with two very young kids (5 and 7 yo) was amazing, largely thanks to Derick, who patiently listened to all our requests and adapted quickly to frequent plan changes. Once we arrived, our driver, Mr. Jaya, impressed us with his excellent driving skills, kind demeanor, and, above all, remarkable patience, ensuring our trip went smoothly. I highly recommend them for planning your next trip to Sri Lanka!

We have recently completed a 10 night tour of Sri Lanka, arranged from the UK with Derrick at DJ Travels.Everything went smoothly and Derrick was helpful and responsive with his answers to our questions during and after the booking process.We were picked up from the airport by Mr Jayaratna (Jaya) who was such a kind, polite and considerate man, with excellent driving skills.We saw all we wanted to see with an extremely flexible schedule, to suit us on a daily basis but ‘covering’ everything on our itinerary.Jaya took us wherever we wanted to go and was able to provide some background knowledge, which was enough for us. However, if you want a more ‘in depth’ explanation of sites, temples, etc, it was easy ( and reasonable) to hire the local guide that operated in the particular temple/ site.Hotels and food were all satisfactory. Derrick had sent us links to them all beforehand so we could check them out ourselves to ensure they were what we wanted.On one occasion, there was a problem with our hotel room, and although it was late on a Sunday evening, Derrick sorted it out for us very quickly ( within 30 minutes) and arranged to have us transferred to another hotel that suited us more.That is indeed fabulous customer service! We would highly recommend DJ Travels if you are looking for a trip to Sri Lanka.

I had an amazing day tour with Mr. Derrick, traveling from Sigiriya to Kandy with a stop in Dambulla. The entire experience was seamless, professional, and truly enjoyable.Mr. Derrick was not only a skilled and safe driver but also a knowledgeable guide who shared fascinating insights about Sri Lanka’s history, culture.The journey through the scenic countryside was comfortable, thanks to the well-maintained car, air conditioning, and thoughtful stops along the way. In Kandy, Mr. Derrick helped us navigate the Temple of the Tooth Relic and even recommended a local spot for lunch, which turned out to be fantastic.If you’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and experienced tour company in Sri Lanka, I can’t recommend this one enough. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, making it a stress-free and memorable day. Whether you’re planning short day trips or a full Sri Lanka itinerary, Derrick will exceed your expectations. He also offers all kind of sri lanka tour packages 🙂

We had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka for six days and thanks to all the coordination done by DJ Travels. Hotel accommodation at everywhere was very satisfactory. Rooms were big and clean, good food and service, swimming pools etc., with amazing views fronting the sea. We visited Bentota, Merissa, Nuara Eliya, Kandy and Colombo and the hurricane tour was very well accomplished as per the plan, by DJ Travels. Mr. Derrick, the tour manager is an amazing personnel and very helpful, very patient and knows exactly the need of the customer, very competent and ensured a stress-free travel. He was always in touch with us through phone and WhatsApp during the entire tenure of travel, seems to have developed a long term relation with us by now. Special mention is to be made about our driver Mr. Jayaratne for his polite manners and very very safe driving. All in all a remarkable experience
